Glenne Aimee Headly (March 13, 1955 – June 8, 2017) was an American actress. She was known for her roles in movies “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” and “Mr. Holland’s Opus” and also TV miniseries like “Lonesome Dove”. Headly received Theatre World Awards and four Joseph Jefferson Awards, and was nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards.
Shortly before her death, Headly and Ed Begley Jr. were tapped for lead roles opposite Josh Hutcherson in Future Man, Hulu’s half-hour comedy pilot from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
She appeared as the mother of Lindsay Lohan’s character in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen in 2004, and alongside Demi Moore, David Duchovny and Amber Heard in The Joneses.
She played the mother of Emma Watson’s character in The Circle, an American “techno-thriller” based on Dave Eggers’ novel of the same name.
Once married to director and actor John Malcovich, Headly later married Byron McCulloch.
